Im so excited

We've got company comming tomorrow I cant wait! Chance's sister, her boyfriend, and our new dog =). We're going to celebrate 4th of July and show them around. I just can't wait I love entertaining. We're going shopping tonight for some host food. Host food is when your host does a special foodshopping because your comming. Host food is my favorite, my parents always do it for me so when I open the fridge ( the first thing I always do when I get there) there is all of my favorite soda and snacks and goodies. I just think its special and polite to do a host food shopping. =)... Do you do this when your having guests?

Presents

When I got home from work tonight chance got us a bottle of Pinot and picked me some fresh flowers. I'm a lucky girl, since moving here I feel like our love has gotten stronger, every day I'm happy to be alive and in love. :)

The strangest event in 20 years of my life.

Today I was at the office and I glanced out into the parking lot to see a women and I noticed she didnt have shoes on and I thought it was weird then she started taking off her shirt, I thought maybe she was just changing, the way you would try to sneak and change out of your bathing suit with a friend blocking you at the beach by the car, so I continue to look anyway because I must be a pervert, and she is not trying to sneak anything at all, she took her bra off too in the middle of the afternoon in a crowded parking lot. I was mortified, she even did a few barechested streches before slowly putting her shirt on. Nipples were everywhere. I just think it is the most awful thing I could have seen today.

Let me explain, when we moved in this was what I saw when I was supposed to see my perfect new first apartment; WALLS that are sagging off, well walls sag no more, because we are having them repaired and painted this weekend, so these are the before shots. Ill post the after shots as soon as they are done.

Apartment living and neighbors

So this is the first apartment i've lived in and I think i'm either a crazy uptight neighbor, or I live in the same building as some real crazy people.

The following shall be used as evidence:

1. One of our neighbors is a parking Nazi, she refuses to let us park close to our (17) stairs, because she wants to back her (non four wheel drive, who buys a non four wheel drive jeep? I DONT KNOW) jeep real close to her (3) stairs, and if I park where I want she will drive into a "ditch" the ditch is about a 3 inch little hill. SORRY lady its not my fault you bought a dumb car and do not know how to drive it, IM PARKING WHERE I WANT SO GET OVER IT! And when im in my bathroom (which is right above her living room) I always smell this weird smell.. hmmm.

2. my other neighbor who I thought was going to be normal, INSISTS on playing the loudest most annoying music and all I can hear is the bass, I cant even hear any words; or I'd dance along. Its 10am and her music is REALLY bumpin'.

3. My last neighbors are normal and nice I like them =)

Friday

Friday means many things in our house. 1. It means sitting around in the weird creepy laundromat for eternity; lugging about 50lbs of laundry up and down 17 stairs (yes i've counted) 2. Foodshopping, which I dont mind but the cost of good food is SO expensive. 3. A new netflix, right now I cant think of the movie we're going to be getting, but I like suprises!

Other things I have to do today:
1. Clean my bathroom floor and shower
2. go to the post office to mail some cards and gifts ( I really love the postal service it amazes me!)
3. Go to wal-mart


What is your Friday usually like?

A little treat

I bought my self a little treat today, I was at Marshalls looking for a gift for a good friend of mine when I stubled apon the cutest blank cards. I love them I think they are the funniest things, I just sent the Audrey one to my parents and my sister. On the back of the box there is a disclaimer that these are real pets, not real celebrities.

Currently Reading:

We All Fall Down by Brian Caldwell. I've had this book for about two years and now that I finally have time to read it I am very impressed. Mr. Caldwell was my english teacher in High school, and everyone was always talking about how he had written a book but it was too controvertial for him to even bring up at school. Hey who doesnt love controversy! Needless to say I got my hands on a copy, and Im glad I did. The detail and emotion that Caldwell is able to capture is unlike anything i've ever read. I suggest this book to anyone, believers in faith and God, and non-believers, this fiction novel is fit for anyone with questions about the years to come.

we've made the move

I cant remember the last time i've posted, mainly because things were so crazy before we moved. Well we finally made it. I'll post some pictures once I have the place in order. I wont recap the whole time I was gone but I'll at least fill you in on today: We woke up and had a coffee date in our kitchen, then we went to a military supply store to look at guns for Chance and me! Next, we went to the mall and had lunch at a cute little sub place, then went to see The Hangover part 2 (movie tickets in Maine are only $6.00!!!!) Went to Wal-Mart to get things to raise our bed, now we are home relaxing, like I said, pictures to eventually follow. =)
