Monday

After a fun-filled day of classes I got home to my appartment to discover that our lab Scout was clearly not happy with me. She destroyed a bag of folded towels and sheets, (maybe she was telling me it was time to put them away) pooped, peed, and ate all of the cats food. So instead of getting a little studying done before I have to go back to school for a nursing meeting tonight, I got to clean up after miss Scout... oh well.

Tonight will consist of: 1. make dinner before I leave for my meeting so Chance doesnt have to eat hotpockets again
2.Nursing meeting
3. Meet up with my mentor Jenna so she can hopefully help me get organized.
4. Come home and finish up some lab work and other fun homework
5. sleep? they allow that in college? maybe?

Revelation

I've just come to the conclusion from here on out I will document my journey to becoming an rn. Forgive the fact that my posts will include complain and will often be sporadic, but such is the life of a perpetual nursing student.

Things I miss about mass

Obviously my family and friends.

But I am really missing:
Panera bread
Radio stations
Good chinese and pizza
People who drive fast
More than one highway
My old job
The Burlington mall
Boston
Traffic
Speed limits > 25 mph
Being a city slicker
Cvs, yah there's no cvs in maine

if you still consider me to be one. I dont know why i've stopped, maybe discouraged, but ill try to be better again! i'm going to re-arrange our room today(which Chance really hates when I do) and hopefully buy a few new things, photos will follow =)

Homesick

I'm feeling so homesick today. I have no friends here yt and it's just so lonely.

Im so excited

We've got company comming tomorrow I cant wait! Chance's sister, her boyfriend, and our new dog =). We're going to celebrate 4th of July and show them around. I just can't wait I love entertaining. We're going shopping tonight for some host food. Host food is when your host does a special foodshopping because your comming. Host food is my favorite, my parents always do it for me so when I open the fridge ( the first thing I always do when I get there) there is all of my favorite soda and snacks and goodies. I just think its special and polite to do a host food shopping. =)... Do you do this when your having guests?

Presents

When I got home from work tonight chance got us a bottle of Pinot and picked me some fresh flowers. I'm a lucky girl, since moving here I feel like our love has gotten stronger, every day I'm happy to be alive and in love. :)
